📚 The Private School That Shouldn’t Exist—But Must

  I was recently asked why I’m helping build a private school in a country with one of the largest public education systems on the planet. After all, shouldn’t the goal be to fix government schools ? Shouldn’t we be fighting for policy reform, budget alignment, teacher incentives? Isn’t a private school, even a small one, an escape hatch—and a privileged one at that? The answer, in theory, is yes. But on the ground? India’s education crisis isn’t theoretical.
